Hello, folks!

It's been a while since I last updated the Itch page. Most of my update efforts have gone to private demos to share with Kickstarter backers and patrons the past 2 years, but I am finally at a point where I can share new stuff with you guys as well. 

Since I've been gone, the game has shaped up quite differently from what I had first shown off. Not so much in the direction of the story, but in the quality. I would like to share a preview of that quality improvement with you all today through this new demo focusing on the character of Jennavieve Caeda.

It includes:

- A fully re-scripted Prologue and Day One

-Chapter One of Uplink Alethia

-A nearly 12,000 word script

- 2 new tracks by Marek Domagała, which have not been heard in previous public demos.

- An android beta build that is playable, but lacks a bit of polish in the textbox.

Some of you may be wondering "why are you just focusing on one character for this demo?" The reason for Jen's rework specifically is because she has always been the most troublesome out of all the routes. Players of our initial demo may remember that she was very quick to open up to the player about very personal things, which gave a certain skew of her character I did not intend. Her problems extended beyond that, however, with her overall story not feeling as well written as Tau or Runia's routes. This new route approach has changed Jen's trajectory as a character, and I want to do her justice in this iteration. I hope you all can give it a chance, and I would love to hear your thoughts on the start of her new story. It was because of your feedback from way back when that I was able to critically look at her route and make something more engaging and natural for her character.
